Students are expected to treat peers, facilitators, staff, and visitors with kindness and dignity. Courtesy in words and actions, listening to others’ viewpoints, and appreciating diversity are central to school life. Bullying, disrespect, or exclusion in any form is not tolerated.
Every student is encouraged to take responsibility for their own learning. This means coming prepared for classes, completing assignments honestly, and engaging actively in classroom discussions, clubs, and activities. Curiosity, creativity, and independent thinking are celebrated, while rote behavior is discouraged.
The Home School emphasizes simplicity and sustainability. Students are expected to keep the campus clean, care for books and materials, and participate in eco-friendly practices such as gardening, recycling, and mindful use of resources. The tradition of barefoot classrooms and eating meals on plantain leaves reflects respect for both culture and nature.
Punctuality, neat uniforms, and appropriate behavior within and outside the school are expected at all times. Integrity in academics — avoiding plagiarism, cheating, or dishonesty — is non-negotiable. Students are also expected to use technology responsibly and respectfully.
Through committees, clubs, and house activities, students contribute to the life of the school. Every child is encouraged to serve others, take initiative, and learn the value of teamwork.
