Located in the heart of Tiruppur, The Home School was founded in 2017 by the Century Foundation Educational Trust to bring together Montessori and Cambridge International curricula in a unique environment of simplicity, sustainability, and exploration.
Situated just 55 km from Coimbatore International Airport and 110 km from the hill station of Ooty, Tiruppur — renowned as India’s textile hub — provides an inspiring backdrop of enterprise and culture. Our campus is thoughtfully designed to blend open green spaces, child-friendly classrooms, and nature-based learning zones that invite curiosity and self-discovery. Academic excellence across every department Content?
The Montessori Division at The Home School forms the foundation of our educational journey, nurturing children aged 3 to 6 in thoughtfully prepared environments. Housed in bright, spacious classrooms filled with natural light and sensory-rich learning materials, the division is designed to encourage curiosity, concentration, and independence. Children also have access to dedicated activity areas, a child-friendly library corner, a Montessori science and environment area, and shaded outdoor learning zones.
The Lower Primary Division at The Home School marks the child’s transition from Montessori exploration to more structured learning, while still preserving the joy, curiosity, and independence of early years. It consists of Grade 1 and Grade 2, following the Cambridge Primary curriculum at Checkpoint Stages 1 and 2, respectively. This stage lays the foundation in core areas such as English, Mathematics, Science, Tamil, Hindi, and Wellbeing, while gently introducing children to academic routines that nurture both discipline and creativity.
The Upper Primary Division at The Home School includes Grades 3, 4, and 5, which correspond to Cambridge Primary Checkpoint Stages 3, 4, and 5. At this stage, children begin to expand their horizons — building on foundational skills while engaging more deeply with subject-based learning. The curriculum covers English, Mathematics, Science, Global Perspectives, Computing, Tamil, Hindi, and French, giving students both linguistic breadth and global exposure
The Lower Secondary Division at The Home School comprises Grades 6, 7, and 8, which correspond to Cambridge Lower Secondary Stages 6, 7, 8, and 9. This is a crucial phase in the child’s journey, bridging primary foundations with advanced secondary learning. The curriculum includes English, Mathematics, Science, Computing, Tamil, and Hindi, enabling students to gain both academic breadth and depth while continuing to develop their critical thinking and problem-solving skills
The IGCSE Division at The Home School includes Grades 9 and 10, where students follow the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum. This stage represents a significant step in their academic journey, offering a balanced mix of core and elective subjects that prepare them for advanced study while fostering independence and responsibility. The curriculum covers English, Mathematics, Sciences, Information Technology, and Humanities, ensuring that learners develop a broad knowledge base as well as analytical and practical skills
The Advanced Level Division at The Home School comprises Grades 11 and 12, where students pursue the Cambridge AS & A Level programme. This internationally recognised qualification is widely respected by universities across the globe and represents the culmination of the school’s academic journey. Students are encouraged to specialise in subjects that align with their passions and career aspirations, while also developing the independence and intellectual maturity needed for higher education.
At The Home School, we believe that great teachers create great learning experiences. Our facilitators are not only educators but also mentors, nurturers, and lifelong learners who play a central role in shaping the ethos of the school.
At The Home School, career counselling is not seen as a final step at the end of schooling but as a progressive journey that begins in middle school and continues through the senior years. The aim is to help every student discover their strengths, interests, and aspirations while preparing them to make informed choices for higher education and beyond.
The process begins with aptitude testing and self-assessment tools, which help students understand their natural abilities, learning styles, and areas of growth. Facilitators work closely with learners to build portfolios that showcase academic achievements, extracurricular involvement, and creative projects. These portfolios not only help in self-reflection but also serve as valuable resources for university applications
